New Membership & Playday forms for 2010 on the forms page!
Pine Tree Riding Club was founded on May 17, 1967 by some very special people; John Bett, James Kershaw and Nellie Campbell, just to name a few. The main objective of the club was to bring together equestrians of all ages, in a fun and family-oriented atmosphere, so they could further their knowledge of horsemanship and sportsmanship through participation in playdays, horse shows, gymkhanas and clinics. As a club, we strive to improve the quality of our riders in all aspects of safely handling their horses.
The operation and success of this club depends largely on the support of our sponsors and volunteers. All of our sponsors receive verbal recognition throughout the day at our Annual Horse Show. In addition, sponsors will also be thanked at each of our 4 playdays, and our year end awards banquet. Throughout our season, March to November, we actively encourage our members to support our sponsors, as we firmly believe we should support those businesses that so generously support our riders. “Thank You To Our Generous Sponsors” posters, as well as any banners or signs provided by the sponsors will be displayed at every Pine Tree Riding Club event. At the end of the riding season, an additional thank you to our sponsors, (a full list of our sponsor names) will be printed in the widely distributed horse magazine called Saddle-Up. You can also see a list of our sponsors on this website under the “Sponsor” tab.
Sponsorship dollars allow youth from all over our community and the outlying areas to come and participate in fun, educational and character building events. If you would like to become a club sponsor, please contact James Fink at 250-573-4167
